Last week, on Thursday May 24th, the Black United Fund of Oregon celebrated 21-years of scholarship awards with great success. Conversely, this was Kimberlee Sheng's last Scholarship Awards Luncheon as the Executive Director of the Black United Fund of Oregon (BUF). Over the past four-years, Kimberlee has served BUF and the community, strengthening the organization and the services provided to youth and families within our State.

Kimberlee's leadership, commitment to excellence, and dry sense of humor will be missed. She will no longer have the honor of reviewing grants payable, scholarship agreements, and fiscal partner contracts. However as an invested member of our community, we know that Kimberlee will continue to serve others while also continuing to work on building a better Oregon.

Kimberlee's transition will officially begin the week of June 6th and will continue through the week of July 2, 2018. However, Kimberlee will remain connected to the organization providing limited coaching and support to the staff while a new Executive Director is identified. Please join us in wishing Kimberlee well and reaffirming support for the tremendous work, that will not stop at the Black United Fund of Oregon.
